It is sin! Sin can never be in Heaven as God's home is a perfect place. Something that is perfect has nothing wrong with it at all--not even the tiniest sin!
"And there shall in no wise enter into it anything that defileth (is sinful)... or maketh a lie..." (Revelation 21:27).
You say, "I am not a sinner! I try to be as good as I can
be. I always try to obey my parents. I try to never do anything wrong. I am as good as I can be." Really!
Are you ALWAYS good?
Do you NEVER do anything wrong?
You would have to give an honest answer, wouldn't you? Not to be honest would be a sin, wouldn't it? You would have to say, "No, sometimes I am not good. I would like to be, but something inside of me makes me do the wrong thing."
What makes us do wrong things or be bad? It is the sin nature that we got from the first parents of the human race, Adam and Eve. Because they listened to Satan, everyone since has been born with a sin nature. That is why the Bible says, "For all have sinned...and come short of the glory of God". (Romans 3:23)
There is an answer...God has made a way for us to be perfect, without any sin at all.
