Heritage Baptist Bible Church.
We are located in the South West corner of rural Minnesota, in the lovely little town of Walnut Grove. Yes, this is the very Walnut Grove, located on the banks of "the" Plum Creek, made famous by Laura Ingalls Wilder in her "Little House" series of books.
You will notice we have "Baptist" in our name; but, we are, first of all, Christian. A Christian is one who believes that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for his sins and has accepted that payment as his ticket for Heaven. Do you know if you're going to Heaven? For more information on that, click on Am I Going to Heaven? or just remember...
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
We invite you to watch the video below and meet our friendly congregation. Enjoy the Christian fellowship. Listen as the Gospel is presented. Then, cross the old wooden footbridge over Plum Creek and take at look at Pa's field which was featured at the end of every episode of the "Little House on the Prairie" television programs. It is hope that we have pursuaded you to stop and see us the next time you are in the area.
We feel we're a friendly church and we would love to shake your hand in person some Sunday Morning. Morning Worship begins at 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Our Sunday School takes place during the same time period. The church is located at:
321 Sixth Street (Right off St. Route 14)
(Next to the Community Center)
P.O. Box 573, Walnut Grove, MN 56180

If you can't make it in person and you live in our local area, please tune in our radio broadcasts. For schedules, click on Radio Message. If you have Bible questions, would like a home visit from our pastor, or would simply like to purchase a copy of a particular broadcast, please don't hesitate to contact us at: Heritage Baptist Bible Church
You could say "Bible" is our "middle" name. We believe the Bible, in its original documents, to be the inspired Word of God to man in its totality; and is without error in any of its words. We believe the King James Translation to be the best translation in use today. Our church is independent, meaning that it is not controlled by any other organization. It is a local assembly of believers governing themselves according to the dictates of the Bible. If you want to know exactly what we believe, there is a link to the Statement of Faith in our Navigation Column; or, you may Click Here. To locate our church, please click on the map below..
Our pastor, Dr. Max D. Younce, has written several books which are available in Bible Study Resources: Books by Dr. Younce on this website.
